The Heli-Austria heliport on the Timmelsjoch is one of the highest heliports in the Alps and, next to the landing site in Ischgl, is the second highest in Austria.

Due to its exposed location and the different surrounding mountain formations, which offer challenging flight conditions, the site is often used for test purposes by helicopter manufacturers.

Another special feature is the weight allowance of the helipad, which is limited to 11,000kg.

The scenery is based on publicly available information.

All objects have been recreated. All objects are newly created, but due to insufficient image and information material, not all parts are shown absolutely realistically. I tried to stay as close to reality as possible.

3. Installation

Simply copy the "LOJH_Martin_8_Hochgurgl" folder in the compressed file to the "Custom Scenery" folder after unzipping.

In the "scenery_packs.ini" copy the scenery directory to the right place,

Save and then restart X-Plane

4. recommended settings

To see the included lighting effects, HDR should be turned on. The higher the settings for "texture resolution" and "airport detail", the better the appearance of the scenery, but the influence on the "frames per second" is higher.
