1.   The Original

The accident hospital Vienna Lorenz Böhler (also Lorenz Böhler accident hospital, since 2018 officially AUVA trauma center Vienna - location Lorenz Böhler) is an accident hospital in the Donaueschingenstrasse 13 in the 20th Viennese district Brigittenau. The predecessor building was the first accident hospital in Vienna. The sponsoring organization is the Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt (AUVA). Since January 2018, the locations Accident Hospital Meidling and Trauma Hospital Lorenz Böhler have been combined in the Vienna Trauma Center of the AUVA under one organizational roof.
History
The first beginnings of accident surgery in Vienna were at the I. Surgical Clinic under Anton Eiselsberg and the II. Surgical Clinic of the General Hospital under Julius Hochenegger, who set up their first accident surgery departments at their clinics. At the insistence of Lorenz Böhler, the Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt AUVA provided two floors in one of its office buildings in Webergasse 2-6 in Vienna's 20th district, which were converted into an accident hospital. Work began in 1923, and in 1925 the opening took place. Lorenz Böhler was appointed Medical Director and Primary. In these functions he was active until 1963 and made the accident hospital a worldwide model for accident hospitals.
From the hospital with originally 52 beds developed until 1934, a hospital with 120 beds and several operating and gymnasiums. In 1945, the accident hospital was severely damaged by bombing, but the operation could be maintained. Today, the AUVA Landesstelle Wien is housed in the building of the former accident hospital. Today (as of April 2018) the hospital has 128 beds.

One year after the resignation of Lorenz Böhler, the Allgemeine Unfallversicherungsanstalt decided in 1965 to rebuild the hospital on Donaueschingenstrasse. Construction began in January 1967. On November 9, 1972, the commissioning of the Lorenz Böhler Hospital. In 1985, a branch office of the Wiener Heilstättenschule was established at the Accident Hospital Vienna Lorenz Böhler.

5.   Recommended settings

To visualize all light effects, HDR should be activated. The higher the settings for "texture resolution" and "airport detail" the better the quality of the scenery but the more affect on the FPS ratio.
